I never said that people can’t be racist towards white people. You can if you really want to but it’s redundant, what is the point in that? What will you gain, nothing. Non-blacks will always have the upper-hand. White people can be bullied and hated in social settings and/or small communities where they are the minority (which is not often). But are you oppressed on a grander scale? Are you excluded in life in regards to education and jobs etc on the sole basis of the colour of your skin? No, your white privilege will never allow it. This isn’t something brand new, this is 400+ years of conditioning in one of the most powerful countries in the world, that is not going to become undone by a few “fuck you c_acker” comments it’s just not. We are far from even.
Non-blacks can sympathise with our hardship (although sympathy is bullshit, replace it with empathy), but you will never fully understand and making mis-informed comments on our identity and experiences just because you read a few books and have blacks friends is wrong. ( Which is what that girl was doing when I made that comment) I’m not condoning racial hate of any kind, I can’t hate somebody because they’re white. That’s foolish. Nor am I trying to belittle your personal experiences, but I can assure you I have more stories of emotionally scaring racism that I experienced before I even turned 16.
p.s you’re right the people w/ the superiority complexes are the problem and those people are not black.
You should probably watch this.
And read this.
